Common Issues & Solutions

Website Not Loading

  • Check nameservers: Your domain must point to ns1.sakurahost.co.tz and ns2.sakurahost.co.tz
  • DNS propagation: After changing nameservers, allow 24-48 hours for global propagation
  • Account suspended? Check your email for renewal notices. Log in at billing.sakurahost.co.tz to check invoice status
  • 500 Internal Server Error: Check your .htaccess file for syntax errors, or check PHP error logs in cPanel

Email Not Working

  • Can't send/receive: Verify MX records point to your hosting server. Check spam folder for incoming mail
  • Authentication failed: Ensure you're using the full email address as username and the correct port (IMAP 993, SMTP 465)
  • Emails going to spam: Set up SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records. Contact support for help configuring these
  • Mailbox full: Delete old emails or upgrade your email hosting plan

cPanel Access Issues

  • Can't log in: Reset password via billing.sakurahost.co.tz > Services > View Details > Change Password
  • cPanel URL: Use yourdomain.co.tz:2083 (HTTPS) or the direct link in your welcome email

SSL Certificate Issues

  • "Not Secure" warning: Free SSL auto-renews. If expired, go to cPanel > SSL/TLS Status and run AutoSSL
  • Mixed content: Update all image/script URLs from http:// to https:// in your website

Slow Website

  • Enable caching (LiteSpeed Cache plugin for WordPress)
  • Optimize images (compress before uploading)
  • Check resource usage in cPanel > Resource Usage
  • Consider upgrading to a higher plan or VPS
