Real-Time Delivery Tracking

Every SMS sent through Sakura SMS is tracked with real-time Delivery Reports (DLR). Here's how to interpret them.

Status Definitions

  • SENT — Message dispatched to the carrier network
  • DELIVERED — Confirmed received by the recipient's phone
  • FAILED — Message could not be delivered (invalid number, network error, blocked)
  • PENDING — Waiting for carrier confirmation (may take up to 48 hours)
  • EXPIRED — Carrier could not deliver within the retry window (usually 24-48 hours)

Viewing Reports

Navigate to History in the sidebar. Click any campaign to see the detailed breakdown per recipient.

Common Failure Reasons

  • Invalid Number — Number does not exist on any network
  • Phone Off — Recipient's phone is powered off or out of range
  • Blocked — Recipient has blocked SMS from your sender ID
  • Network Congestion — Carrier queue full, retry later
  • Spam Filter — Message flagged by carrier anti-spam systems
Tip: If your delivery rate drops below 90%, check your contact list quality. Use the Audience Cleaning feature to remove invalid numbers and save credits.
