Automate Your Messaging

Automations let you respond to customer actions without manual intervention. Set up rules that trigger messages based on keywords, schedules, or events.

Automation Rules

Rules execute when a specific condition is met:

• Keyword Trigger — When a customer sends "MENU", auto-reply with your menu
• Time Trigger — Send a follow-up 24 hours after a purchase
• Event Trigger — Welcome message when a new contact is added

Creating a Rule

• Navigate to Automations in the sidebar
• Click Create Rule
• Define the trigger: keyword match, schedule, or event
• Set the action: send SMS, send WhatsApp template, add to group, or webhook
• Configure conditions: time window, sender group, channel filter
• Activate the rule

Drip Sequences

Drip sequences send a series of messages over time. Perfect for onboarding, education, or nurturing leads.

• Create a sequence with multiple steps (e.g., Day 1, Day 3, Day 7)
• Each step defines a message and delay
• Contacts enter the sequence when they match a trigger
• Contacts exit if they reply "STOP" or are manually removed

Example Drip Sequence: New Customer Welcome

• Immediately — "Welcome to [Brand]! Here's 10% off your first order: CODE10"
• Day 2 — "Did you know we offer free delivery in Dar es Salaam?"
• Day 5 — "Your discount expires in 2 days. Shop now: [link]"
• Day 7 — "We'd love your feedback. Reply 1-5 to rate your experience."

Execution History

Every automation execution is logged:

• View triggers, actions taken, and results in the Automation Log
• Filter by rule, date range, or status (success/failed)
• Debug failed executions with detailed error messages
