Why Verification Matters
To prevent spam and ensure compliance with TCRA regulations, Sakura SMS requires identity verification for all bulk senders. Unverified accounts are limited to 50 SMS per day.
Required Documents
- TIN Number or Certificate of Incorporation
- Director's ID — NIDA, Passport, or Voter ID
- Business License — Required for Alpha-Numeric Sender IDs
Submission Process
- Go to Settings > Compliance in your dashboard
- Upload clear, legible copies of each document
- Ensure documents are not expired
- Submit for review
Verification Timeline
Standard verification takes 2-4 hours during business days (Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM EAT). Priority verification is available for Enterprise customers.
What Happens After Verification
- Daily sending limit removed (unlimited SMS)
- Eligible for custom Sender IDs
- Access to WhatsApp Business API
- Priority delivery routing on all networks
