WhatsApp Flows: Interactive Conversations
Create interactive WhatsApp flows with forms, menus, and data collection templates.
What Are WhatsApp Flows?
WhatsApp Flows allow you to create structured, interactive experiences within WhatsApp. Think of them as mini-apps: forms, surveys, appointment bookings, and multi-step menus that your customers complete without leaving the chat.
Creating a Flow
- Navigate to WhatsApp > WA Flows in the sidebar
- Click Create Flow
- Choose a template or start from scratch
- Give your flow a name and select a category (e.g., Survey, Lead Capture, Appointment)
Flow Builder
The visual builder lets you design multi-screen flows:
- Screens — Each screen is a step in the flow (welcome, questions, confirmation)
- Input Types — Text fields, dropdowns, date pickers, radio buttons, checkboxes
- Navigation — Connect screens with Next/Back buttons
- Completion — Define what happens when the flow is finished
Sending a Flow
- Flows are sent as special WhatsApp messages with a "Start" button
- You can attach a flow to a broadcast, trigger it from an automation, or share the link directly
- Recipients tap the button to begin the interactive experience
Viewing Responses
- Go to WA Flows > [Your Flow] > Responses
- View individual responses or export all data as CSV
- Responses include timestamp, phone number, and all field values
- Use the analytics dashboard to see completion rates and drop-off points
Flow Templates
- Customer Feedback — Rating + comment form
- Lead Capture — Name, email, interest fields
- Appointment Booking — Date/time selection with confirmation
- Order Form — Product selection with quantity and delivery details
